Comments

About five years ago, we planted our first vines, and we are now beginning to harvest our grapes from our oldest vines. We want to thank you for working with us during our first harvest using the ATAGO meter. We were having some problems, but the new silicon cover model made all the difference in the world.
The ATAGO meter saved time and helped us make our decision to harvest the grapes at the right time. Normally we would
have taken our whole cluster samples and then determined the Brix level using a standard refractometer.
ATAGO meter allowed us to approach our harvest day much easier and less time-consuming by just walking down a row and taking meter readings while leaving clusters on the vine. We harvested our Tempranillo and Pinot Noir at about 21.5-degree Brix (determined using a standard refractometer after picking). The ATAGO allowed us to estimate our final Brix without using numerous whole cluster sampling. It would have been nice to wait a few more days to harvest, but mother nature was about to change the weather dramatically with rain and much cooler temperatures.

Thank you again,
